City of Tullahoma is governed by a Board of Mayor and Aldermen.
The Board has seven members, including the mayor. All are
elected to three-year terms on a staggered basis.
The board members serve the city at-large.
The Board of Mayor and Aldermen set policy for the
city government, appoint committee and board members, approve
an annual budget, enact laws and ordinances, enter into contracts,
and set public hearings.
Board of Mayor and Aldermen holds meetings on the second and
fourth Monday of each month, at 5:30 p.m.. local time,
at City Hall in the second floor board chambers.
The meetings are televised live on Channel 6.
The Board may set special call meetings upon legal
notice. All board
meetings have a public comment period for citizens to bring
any issue affecting the city before the board.
Persons with a disability requiring accommodation to
attend the meeting should call 455-2648 prior to the meeting.
Elevator access to the second floor is available.
